Earlier this year, I made the leap to turn my passion of 15+ years – woodworking – into my fulltime job. I’m fortunate to be able to make a living off of my art (thanks to you all!) and decided shortly after pursuing this fulltime, that I wanted to set aside a little something each month to give back to a good cause. So, I did some research and learned about RIP Medical Debt and the work they do to eliminate medical debt for those who need it most. There are no strings attached and each dollar donated goes towards 100x that amount in debt forgiveness.
Like many of us, I have friends and family currently stuck in the mire of medical debt and know how trying and painful it can be to deal with. Through my donation to RIP Medical Debt, I’m very proud to share that Brambles Woodwork is helping eliminate the equivalent of $130,000 in medical debt through my donation. I would not be able to do what I love to do if I were trapped under the burden of medical debt and I hope that this donation is able to help free someone to pursue their own passion. Or simply breathe a bit easier.
On this #GivingTuesday, I highly recommend you learn more about this beautiful program at the link in my profile and consider giving a little something yourself, if you’re so inclined.
